A journey that began with one man’s dream,
and grew through the trust of the people
Behind every success story lies a struggle, and this one is no exception. The story of K. Chinnadurai Gold House & Textiles started with the dream of an ordinary man and grew, year by year, into a name people trust.
As a young man, Mr. K. Chinnadurai learned the retail trade the hard way — behind the counter of a textile store, listening to customers and paying attention to the details that make a shop worth returning to. Out of those years came a simple resolve: to open a store of his own, and to give people quality without compromise.
That small dream became the root of a business that now stands in multiple cities across Tamil Nadu.
Eral — where it began
Eral, a prosperous town on the banks of the Tamirabarani river and long known for its trade, is where this story starts. In 1970, K. Chinnadurai Textiles opened its doors as a small textile store — modest in capital, but never in dedication. Honest pricing, real quality and a customer treated like family carried the shop through weddings, festivals and everyday life for generations of families. Customers came to say it plainly:
“Purchases made from this store bring good fortune.”
